Starting September 15, 2021, ViaBTC Capital, together with CoinEx, will open up registration for CoinEx Smart Chain Global Hackathon Grants Round 1 on HackerLink.io, the DoraHacks developer platform.
CoinEx Smart Chain (CSC) is a decentralized and high-efficiency public chain created by the CoinEx public chain team for decentralized finance. Committed to growing into the next generation of blockchain financial infrastructure, CSC is characterized with full compatibility with the Ethereum ecosystem, high efficiency, negligible gas fees, and permission-less staking for being a validator.
The prize pool of the CSC Hackathon Grants is totaled up to $300,000. To be specific, $100,000 will be distributed to participating teams, and the rest $200,000 will be granted from hackathon judges to project teams winning the most votes. At the same time, the total prize pool will include votes from CSC community members. The more popular a project is, the more community votes it will get.
In addition to CSC Global Hackathon Grants, all participating project parties can also apply for CSC’s $10 million support program to get seed funds from CSC.
CSC is committed to building an open financial ecosystem. All projects based on EVM contracts or aiming to develop applications on CSC are welcome to apply for the Grants. We warmly welcome projects including but not limited to the following categories: DEX, lending products, yield aggregators, DEX aggregators, synthetic assets, insurance, stablecoins, NFT, games, etc. Please check out the detailed idea list:

How to apply?
- Preparation
- Create an account on MetaMask, and configure CSC Mainnet
Download MetaMask here: https://metamask.io/
CSC configuration information:
chainID: 52
symbol: CET
- Make sure you have at least 1 CET in your account balance as gas (Purchase CET here: https://www.coinex.com/)
(If you have no balance, please go to @hackerlinkoffcial on Telegram for gas help!)
- Disconnect your VPN
- Go to the entry: Hackerlink, click “Apply Grant”. If you are new to Hackerlink, please create an account.

Choose Grant Round and connect your MetaMask wallet to Hackerlink.

Click “Create a new BUILD”.

Fill in the necessary information.

If you want to add your team members to the project, they need to have an account on Hackerlink. You can add them via their emails for registration.

Upload related URLs. URLs are optional. But they will help voters and judges better understand your project (Fill in only 1 URL for each blank).

Click “Submit”. You will need to approve the transaction (for gas). Please make sure you have some CET in your account.

You can edit any detail of your project from “Account” - “My BUILDS” after submission.
Please go to @hackerlinkofficial for project verification after submitting your project.
